Premium Sodium Feldspar
Enhancing ceramic strength with consistent purity.
Sodium feldspar, or soda feldspar (also known as albite), is a type of feldspar rich in sodium oxide (Na₂O), sourced from minerals like albite and oligoclase. It is commonly used in ceramics, particularly for porcelain and sanitary ware, as it helps lower the melting point, improves plasticity, and enhances glaze quality. Additionally, it is used in glass and enamel production due to its high alkali content. While sodium feldspar is more popular in the glass industry, potassium feldspar is preferred in ceramics and glazes for its higher melting point.
